Development Process
1. Concept & Design
The initial concept for Math vs Bat came from the viral Matiks app that went viral on X. I thought of making it a game of killing bats with a cannonbal by solving maths problem.
2. Art & Animation
The game's visual style was developed to be clean and readable while maintaining an engaging aesthetic. All the animations were done by me.
3. Programming & Implementation
Built using Unity, this was an easy game to build. Although it involved different math operations and algorithms that had to be coded.
4. Testing & Polish
Extensive playtesting was conducted to fine-tune difficulty curves and ensure the game remained engaging across different skill levels. User feedback was incorporated to improve controls, add new features, and refine the overall experience.
5. Release & Updates
The game was released on multiple platforms with regular updates adding new content, features, and improvements based on player feedback. The development team continues to support the game with new content and optimizations to ensure the best possible experience for players.
